MCC Picks Up – Waiver & Release Agreement

Every furniture pickup request will require that you read and agree to the following terms: 

1. Pick-Up Location Requirements:
   • All items must be on the main floor, in the garage, or outside (porch/driveway).
   • For apartments/condos, items must be in the lobby, loading dock, or a booked service elevator at pick-up time.
2. Right to Refuse Items:
   • MCC Picks Up may refuse items that are not on the accepted list, damaged, stained, contain excessive pet hair/odors, or cannot be accessed safely (e.g., icy driveways, uncleared stairs).
3. Not Liable for Damages:
   • I acknowledge the risks involved, including potential damage to property, flooring, or walls.
   • MCC Picks Up is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury, including accidental damage to my home.
4. Liability Waiver:
   • I release MCC Picks Up, its staff, and volunteers from any claims or liabilities related to the pick-up.
   • I agree to hold MCC Picks Up harmless from any associated costs, including legal fees.
5. Discrepancies & Charges:
   • If items do not match the agreed list, an extra charge may apply, or a refund may be issued.
